FAQ’s
+ How do I edit my pictures + what camera do I use?
Although we own a Fuji camera, a tripod, and some fancy lenses, we never use them… 95% of my photos are taken on my iPhone 11 Pro. For special moments, we work with a photographer here in Santiago, Chile. For editing, I love using the Tezza app. My favorite filters are the Vintage series, Fridays, Glow, Natural, and Almond. I also recommend playing around with the different effects and templates available… there’s so much you can do within this app!
+ Do we have a name picked out for baby girl?
Yes!! But we’re waiting till she arrives and we get to meet her sweet little face before sharing so stay tuned! Just a couple more weeks to go….
+ Why do we live in Chile?
We’d always wanted to live abroad but Luke’s job is ultimately what made that dream a reality… which brings us to the next question…
+ What does Luke do?
He works in Business Development for BHP which is a mining company headquartered in Melbourne, Australia. He started with the company in 2010 in the Houston office and when he got the opportunity for his current role here in Santiago, we jumped on it!! His background is in Finance and Supply Chain.
+ Do we speak in English or in Spanish to Edward?
Both! Our goal has always been to raise Edward bilingual and we’ve read that the best way to do that is to speak to them in both languages as soon as they’re born. So that’s what we’re doing and it’s really fun to see which words he’s picking up in which language! You could say he’s speaking Spanglish at the moment.
